Die Nacht

Die Nacht returns to Disco Zwei serving immersive techno, featuring the Mannheim‑based DJ and producer duo Objection.

Objection have been active in and around the local scene for several years. Their sets are grounded in a keen sense of atmosphere, texture and sonic detail, blending driving, rhythm‑focused techno with darker, hypnotic elements. Their approach favors extended, evolving mixes and careful pacing.

With their own label Distorted Perception, they have created a platform for individual and innovative techno, as well as high-quality productions. This has generated support from international artists, such as Chris Liebing, Jonas Kopp, Inigo Kennedy, Giorgio Gigl and many more. Their releases appear on labels including Front Left Records, of which they are a part.

Alongside their work as DJs, producers and label heads, Objection curate the Distorted Perception event series. They have hosted artists such as Amotik and The Lady Machine in Mannheim, establishing a strong presence in the local techno scene.

For Die Nacht at Disco Zwei, Objection will focus on a reduced, hypnotic techno sound.
